LEARN IT. TRY IT. BRING IT TO LIFE.

Foundations with
somewhere to go.

VOICE • ENSEMBLE • STAGECRAFT • MOVEMENT • PERFORMANCE. The Founding Cohort connects practical voice foundations with expression, rehearsal and live performance. Students apply what they explore directly to songs and the work of the ensemble.

Students set a personal goal and receive midpoint and final feedback. Progress might mean matching a phrase more accurately, listening more closely to the ensemble or stepping forward with greater ease.

No previous professional training is required. Developing performers and students who already sing or perform are welcomed at their starting point. We ask each student to participate, receive direction, rehearse, try again and contribute to the ensemble. A brief performance assessment may help us understand their starting point, strengths and goals for development and placement.

  1. Find your place.

Meet the ensemble, explore your starting point and choose a personal goal. Every journey begins somewhere.

  2. Discover your instrument.

Explore warm-ups, breath, pitch, healthy tone, comfortable range and diction, then apply those practical foundations directly to songs and performance.

  3. Make the song mean something.

Explore lyrics, phrasing and expression. Discover how a song becomes a story you can share.

  4. Step into the space.

Work on stage presence, microphone habits, entrances, positioning and performance focus. Rehearse gestures, spacing and light choreography while singing.

  5. Hear the whole ensemble.

Listen for entrances and stops, work with assigned parts and blend. Understand how your contribution supports the whole ensemble. Planned rehearsal filming helps preserve the journey behind the final performance.

  6. Bring it all together.

Connect songs, movement and transitions. Practice recovering from a missed cue and supporting each other.

  7. Celebrate the progress.

Rehearse the complete program and receive finishing feedback as the journey builds toward W.O.W. LIVE.

FIND YOUR VOICE. LIVE YOUR PURPOSE.

Imagine their
next chapter.

Individual preparation. A shared ensemble. A live performance that gives the journey a destination.
